Young Readers’ Book Club

 

Children ages 4 through 6 who are able to read independently will meet

at the Port Washington Public Library Children’s Room

on Monday October 5th from 3:45 to 4:30

to discuss

 

Chrysanthemum by Kevin Henkes

 

The discussion will be led by Orange Girtz an experienced and enthusiastic elementary school teacher.  Ms. Girtz received her master’s degree in education from NYU and taught in Greenwich Village for several years before moving to Port Washington.

 

Copies of Chrysanthemum and all subsequent selections

will be held on reserve prior to the meeting.
